Don’t think this will prevent you from getting a ticket in Chicago. Last time I got a tint ticket, they classified it as a moving violation. Means that it doesn’t matter if your vehicle is legally tinted - Chicago will still issue you a ticket because it's not legal to have a tinted vehicle on a Chicago street.
