Continents have more to do with tectonic plates than maps. Greenland isn’t a continent because it doesn’t have its own plate. Eurasia is actually a single plate, but the Ural Mountains are a convenient border to use to split a huge landmass.

Walmart can't do that, they used all their locked up aisles for products primarily purchased by black people. They aren't really subtle. 

I’ve heard multiple actors say that they love working on Michael Schur shows because the creative team is so nice and supportive, and no one yells. And Mike Schur and his team make great TV.

So many times I’ve been in a fast food restaurant and this happens. It was was always so random who would spaz out and it was so damn spontaneous.

I followed the link and it is even worse, somehow, in that the city has ordered that branch to hire door staff and private security due to the problems there, and the cops patrol outside on horseback. It is basically the Purge, but with burgers.

I just did the math. That is an incident requiring police response approximately every other day. What in the actual hell was going on there??

Oh I agree. There aren’t many reasons not to be nice, but if somebody’s default setting is “asshole” then I’m not gonna push too hard. Baby steps.

The thing is that it isn’t really about any *particular* wealth range. I live in San Francisco, got a job at the tail end of last year that pays more than well enough that the stimulus isn’t necessary to me, but since I didn’t get hired until late late in the year, I didn’t make enough money to get classed out.

Say whatever you want about Sanders, but he wouldn’t have narrowed the eligibility.

We didn’t “give the Dems a majority” that doesn’t rely on the vote of Sen. Manchin. Unless if someone wants to claim that they thought the only Dem elected state-wide (or to federal office) from West Virginia was some sort of secret progressive, then we might want to be a little more clear about the governing…

Should people be disappointed/frustrated, etc? Absolutely. We didn’t elect Biden and give the Dems a majority just for them to cave into conservatives in their own party. Should anyone be surprised? Nope.
