The only reason to point that out is that you think the distance of the ball away from the batter’s head should be a mitigating factor in the outrage and/or punishment towards the pitcher’s actions. I think the intent of the act matters more.

Thanks for the heads up, as I was already looking askew when the file showed up in my podcatcher. I'll go ahead and skip both episodes this week.
