Probably because it wasn't a lemon-lime flavored clear soda, like every other clear one ever. This one tasted just like the regular Pepsi (at least, at first it did. I was just informed that the flavor changed, which I didn't remember). People are creatures of habit, and, especially with food and drinks, crave

Hmm, I don't remember the flavor change. Probably because I wasn't exactly the most observant kid…or adult for that matter.

People REALLY hated it. Probably because of the huge ad campaign which really pushed the hype train. I thought it was great, myself.

Yep, it's the first one. They literally just removed the caramel color, and I freakin' loved it. Mostly because I was the only one in the family that would ever go near it, so when my mom would buy it I'd have the whole 2 liter and/or 6 pack to myself.

Count me as a stupid kid that also liked it. I'm still stupid, so I think I'm still gonna love it.

I live near such an establishment. You can bring all the beer you want, but the downside is that they keep it all in the bar and give you tickets you have to redeem to get it back. Plus, you can only redeem one ticket at a time, so it's slightly tedious.

WOOHOO!

Of course, that could also provide it with the cover that Community got for so long. That is, since it was scheduled up against such a ratings juggernaut that the expectations were considerably lowered.

Cool. Good talk.

I know. ;)

As for NBC no longer cancelling shows so fast? Too fucking late, guys. Too fucking late.

Ah, the The Michael J. Fox Show. The thing I remember most about that show is that the actors playing oldest brother and daughter had ridiculous romantic chemistry and it made their scenes together really, really awkward. They need to be cast in a romantic comedy immediately.

Nah. Thanks for commenting.

I only know when the episodes show up on my DVR. Plus, since CN doesn't like to specify between first-run and repeats, I'll usually end up a bunch of AT and SU episodes on there, which I then have to check to see if they're repeats or not. Frustrating, but I guess they figure kids don't give a shit about that,

Speaking of which, I love how your avatar and username don't really mix, unless you know that the same guy plays both. Then, it's a perfect match. That's some deep avatar/username synergy there.

Not slightly at all.

My wife Eleanor.

Eh, I do the "we" thing because I've invested a lot of time, money and emotional pain/joy in this team. Sure, objectively speaking, you're entirely correct that it's ludicrous that a guy that did nothing but crack open some beers and stuff meat products down their throat for about 8 hours on a Sunday acts like they

I wouldn't say Redskins fans are the worst, but I will say that we tend to become quite arrogant over very little success. I think many of us believe that our team is so much better than the real "loser" franchises, when in actuality, the team is right there. Our fans have no right lording anything over anybody, but

Thought he was okay in Looper at least.
