I didn't get a harrumph outta that guy.
I didn't get a harrumph outta that guy.
I picked up Smith as a backup this week, and was going to bench Newton for him…and then I missed the deadline for roster changes for the game. First time in a while laziness worked for me in FF.
Well, it hasn't gotten any worse, I'll put it like that. However, we keep getting CBs suspended for a game (Breeland, (#3 and nickel) last week, Culliver (#1) this week), and the starting SS just went on IR for the season for the third season in a row. Plus, you have the #2 CB (Hall) coming back from back to back…
I know that they're better, but they're not THAT much better than the Redskins - that's all I was saying.
"aside from the surprisingly decent line play you mentioned"
I dunno. I wonder if there was a reason besides being an asshole that JKC didn't leave the team to his family. Maybe his son was a dumbass that was destined to run the team into the ground anyway? Not sure, but it's possible.
Well, I have a different opinion on Maron himself, and actually quite enjoy the intros and outros to the interviews. I just think he's an interesting guy with a lot of varied interests and neuroses. He's also extremely self-aware, in a way I wish I could be.
Highly recommend the WTF podcast he did with Maron a few months ago.
To be fair, you were also saying some things African-Americany wasn't ready to hear.
His sack rate has always been quite respectable, even with an admittedly small sample size. His issue is that his way of avoiding the pressure was to get rid of the ball as soon as possible, regardless of where the defense was. That would of course lead to picks in bunches.
This guy - this is not my kind of guy.
I'd admit, I would certainly wish for a different team for the debut of our new right side of the OL. However, I think this will be great experience for both of the young guys, and at the very least they'll have a QB behind that is actually quite good at avoiding pressure.
Don't think that'll matter much on the…
I don't know about that, but multiple players have said that they felt there was a perception in the league that the Redskins were soft as a team. Guessing they are trying to change that perception, but I hope they channel that motivation into useful football plays and don't end up getting half the team kicked out due…
I'll repost what I said in Whovian's NFL TI thread, because I'm lazy, and I got it like that:
I skip the cheese as well, but not because of any lactose intolerance. It's just that I believe a sausage and egg biscuit just tastes way fluffier without the cheese. Doesn't matter what fast food joint I get it from, whenever I get the sausage and egg, I have to drop the cheese. I have definitely annoyed some…
Might want to save one or two of those stabs for that Rizzo voodoo doll while you're at it. *Comic Book Guy voice* Wurst. Bullpen. Ever.
That is one of the best versions of Lupin III, no doubt about it. Years ago, TokyoPop put out some of the original comics, and it's jarring how different the character is. Much, much, much darker.
*cocks shotgun*
As another frequent broke-ass, I endorse this comment.
Yeah, that was in 2007 up at Foxboro, which was Joe Gibbs' fourth and final season of his comeback. 55 to 7, I believe.
