Yeah that's the guy.  What a horrific story.  There were other soldiers executed in the war like the Brown Out Strangler in 1942, but he was a serial killer so fuck him.  This poor kid did not deserve his fate whatsoever.

I always hear (read) these stories about kids and how they just want to watch (or listen) to something over and over again, and either my kids are weird outliers who don’t have that instinct, or I am the weird outlier that doesn’t let their kids do stuff over and over again.
