One of my closest friends had an affair, while married and with kids. His affair was with another woman who had kids. When I learned this, I ceased to be his friend. Because it was vile, and I realized I didn’t know this person at all. It wasn’t a hard choice.

This. Look, I don’t like Boeing, but they’re not going to off a witness, certainly not in the middle of a high profile deposition which would only draw greater scrutiny to them.

That’s precisely the issue. He’s having private time...WITH CHILDREN.

You lock your door.

The problem for me isn’t that Jenkins isn’t a good filmmaker. She’s a very good filmmaker. But it’s one thing to direct a character drama like Monster, and another to helm a VFX heavy action picture. It’s like assuming someone skilled in brain surgery can transfer those skills to do open heart. I just don’t think

Yeah so was OJ.  Your point is?

This.  It’s about money pure and simple.  MJ is, or at least was, the highest earning dead artist out there, so you have to nip all this talk about his crimes in the bud, or sooner or later all that valuable IP will become as radioactive as, say, the Cosby Show.

That detail for me was damning.  I mean, don’t get me wrong, I believed the accusers, but there was alway wiggle room for MJs defenders to say, “Well they’re lying, they just want money” etc, etc.  But they can’t explain away that.  Why the hell do you have system to alert you in your BEDROOM when someone is coming,

Same. There’s a large swath of the populace, myself among them, who missed the King of Pop era. They only know of MJ as the plastic surgery-obsessed freak who molested children.

Any movie that doesn’t try to reckon with THAT is a non-starter.

I still can’t figure out what the hell she saw in him.

Fired because he thought Gargoyles was better.

My two cents: I think Scorsese was the wrong person to direct this film, and his role in its making raised expectations and provoked a far greater letdown.

Honestly, it was such a close race between the two, that I was actually willing to wager on a vote split resulting in a third person winning in an upset.  I thought Sandra Huller had a damn good chance.  So I agree, Gladstone was not robbed.  it was a phenomenal performance, and the whole season, it was clear the race

Yes! It was totally unclear to me when he meets the Paley’s, because as you note he looks much older than he’s supposed to be at that point.  Capote was always a very youthful looking person.  The drugs and alcohol take a drastic toll on him, and we don’t really see that.

Oh for FFS, why must everything be told in a non-linear fashion?  It’s my big frustration with Feud this season.  It keeps cutting back and forth, and I have no damn idea what timeframe we’re in.  If ever there was a story that could be told in a straight fashion, it’s the hunt for Lincoln’s killer.  It’s a terrific

Snyder is just butthurt because for a time he was master of his destiny, and the person who was going to mastermind a whole DC universe, but now that moment is past, his fanbase has evaporated, and he’s now just another hire-a-hack.

Many people watched Rebel Moon. Few finished. Fewer liked it. And therein lies the distinction between it and Barbie.

A pity, considering how horribly the movie has aged.

Same! I think it’s because I was precisely the right age when Hook came out (seven years old). That score is for me quintessential Williams.
