IDK, I feel just about anything that runs, has good tires and will pass smog is worth around a grand (give or take).

Omitting the shadows of the door, mirror, and hatch was likely deliberate so as the keep the shadow from appearing too busy, and asymmetrical. It also keeps the entire thing frame without having to enlarge the overall piece or cut off the shadows.

Actually, if your tires are underinflated and the smog test is done on a dyno, the engine has to work harder to achieve the test speed. Running harder at the same RPM means more fuel, which mean running richer, which means burning dirtier.
