I am curious how much is lost if they drop this drivetrain into a GR Corolla as some rumors have suggested.
For a car that small it actually is.
Why Subaru doesn’t apply STI magic to more of their lineup I will never know.
I would be hard pressed to go more than an average commute’s worth of distance to get my primary car serviced. If we are talking about the something rare and special that serves as the Sunday toy I would be far more accommodating.
Because it looks like an 8 year old’s vision of some military GI Joe machine. The truck bros will love it.
I’m not sure why you would mention Vanderhall’s small dealer network in the first place. It is unlikely someone considering buying one would bother if they did’t have a dealer near by. The same could be applied to any vehicle that doesn’t have complimentary vehicle pickup and delivery, which I’m not even sure is…
The BMW GS and Honda Africa Twin are also large and have similarly chonky profiles. Don’t forget, it’s not a dirt bike, it’s an enduro/adventure bike. It is expected to take you and all your camping gear hundreds of miles into back country so they tend to be larger rather than light weight.
4th: Can someone explain to me how the Cybertruck’s “exoskeleton” is different than unibody construction?
Probably less than it’s giving to the steering and suspension.
Most states don’t have a Ferrari dealer either.
A lot of those “features” are federally mandated. I love marketing.
Hard to imagine anyone buying a Vanderhall doesn’t live somewhere near a dealer. It’s not like people are taking these cross country either.
There is a faster Vanderhall with almost 200hp, but yeah, prices start to get a bit absurd. Of course with cars like this, is it ever really a value proposition? Go fo the Morgan and it’s even more lopsided. These are definitely toys for people with money burning a hole in their pocket.
That is unfortunate. I’m not surprised about the weight distribution as a 3-wheel car is always going to have that problem. I guess the understeer isn;t surprising either as early Slingshots also suffered from this. Now that you mention it, I have seen a lot of variance between Vanderhall reviews (particularly with…
Agreed. The company claims it tried to develop a manual but the car had to be wider to accommodate a manual shifter and it made the car look weird. Personally, I think a sequential gearbox might have been the best solution to that problem.
You did successfully on both attempts.
I feel like the Slingshot is trying too hard to convince people it is a KTM XBow.
Because it is the fastest of the 3.
