No question the Morgan is the classiest of the 3 but it lacks the performance of the other 2, and a Caterham doesn’t qualify as it is a proper car and one that is very difficult to register in a lot of states.

People probably said that when the MK7 came out.
Every slingshot I have ever seen was piloted by the douchebag you describe.
Nope.
The mirrors on every bike I have ever ridden give me an excellent view of some part of my arm. I’m glad someone finally figured out to put them lower.
Oh not that silly thing. I just meant their cutaway truck would make for a good RV chassis.
Talk to Bollinger. They can make that happen, and with a bigger battery too.
I read the article. It is incorrect. An S3 does not start at $53k. It starts at $44k. He is including the 20% VAT in those prices which we do not pay in the US.
The author quoted prices with the 20% VAT. An S3 starts in the mid 40's in the US. The Golf R will too.
These prices are misleading. Prices in the UK include the 20% VAT, which we don’t pay this side of the pond. Realistically the MSRP will be closer to $44k, which isn’t too far off what the last gen cost.

If I lived someplace where roads were straight, long, and fast I’d be all over a land yacht. After all, who cares about handling or steering feel when you never have to turn?
The entire American auto industry in the late 70's.
I’d rather they go with an electric JCW in the Clubman. At least then there might be room for a big enough battery to actually make it useful outside the daily commute no one does anymore.
I enjoy riding in a floaty land yacht, but when I am behind the wheel I despise the lack of feedback. For me, driving is a very tactile experience, and not feeling what the car is doing until I see it move is a little unsettling at times. If I wanted to wait for driving inputs to be relayed in slow motion I’d go…
Im seeing a MAX but they could have changed it since your post.
Absolutely. The pent up demand is off the charts, and even business travel will rebound. On the whole work from home just isn’t as productive. With the endless Zoom meetings, they all say they don’t get any real work done until after work hours.
“Predicted reliability” has always been a big part of CR’s rating system, so abandoning it would be a big shift for them and open up the chance for disparity in how they rate different vehicles. They often will not recommend a car in its first year of production ICE, EV or otherwise simply because there is no way to…
