"I can't believe it! I'm on i09!"

CREEPY FACES IN THE GLASS

So it's got 100,000 words then? As I understand it, 80k is "average" for a novel, though it changes depending on the genre and age group. 100k or more is pretty typical for a fantasy novel, but an entry in a crime series might be closer to 60k.

Man, I love video games. I swear even when I'm not playing video games, I end up reading about them.

Would that book be "Will Grayson, will grayson" because the same happened to me.

I swore that I would do that for this run-through of Fire Emblem, but I'm noticing that I have a tendency to like a lot of sword users. Great when going up against Axe-heavy armies, horrible when there's a militia of lances in my way. At least I've got Miriel for them.

Gosh this is a lot of fun. I imagine many minutes waiting for the train will be spent feeding this little guy.

I love Deko, but the patterns saved on a retina display look really low-res and they charge $1.99 for each high-res export from the app. :/ I wouldn't mind throwing a couple bucks their way to unlock the ability to export in high-res but two bucks for EACH one seems problematic.

Now playing

Without a doubt, I have to give this to "The Man with the Machine Gun" from FFVIII.

I think you might have misunderstood. I wasn't advocating that Yet Another FPS start with terrorists attacking a quiet town, I was saying that a slow opening like the 'quiet town' won't fit the pace that a modern FPS needs. Those games generally need a more explosive, exciting opening to grab the player, and can't

This is the whole point of having RPG elements in shooters, isn't it? The disconnect there is that the story usually demands a lightly seasoned veteran for the scope of the game, but when the player hasn't dumped enough points in Magic Lungs® to sprint farther than 30 feet, it's the opposite problem.

There are so many logical fallacies in this argument, it's more hilarious than anything else.

I swear I can hear the executive saying "You remember the Inception trailer? Use that noise. People love that noise."

How dare someone look at something made 22 years ago with a critical eye!

The previous issues were focused in Innistrad, where the last block took place, but this next set seems to be not tied to a particular plane. And the cards are all reprints with new art featuring Dack up there or another comic character (and they're poorer quality cards imo).

I love the slick visuals, but the music feels like they blindly picked some loop from the alpha version of GarageBand

NBC also moved Chuck to Fridays...and then renewed it. It's not like they cancelled Community or anything!

As I grew up, I was an only child, with only my parents to play board games with, and only one of them ever wanted to. Naturally I turned to video games to get my interactive entertainment. It was a fair trade off, and board games as I understood them were only good enough when you had at least 3 people.

As long as it doesn't end up like the theatrical cut of BLADE RUNNER. That is an extended ending I can never forgive.

Is it supposed to remind me of an iPhone 4? Because it really does.
