I would personally pay extra taxes if I knew it was going to pay furloughed-without-their-knowledge gov't employees. Most gov't furloughs are built into an employee's schedule so they can plan around it. This was crazy unfair and out of the blue.

I thought I heard someone say/write that these fuckers did at least vote to pay them for the "furlough," which makes it not really a furlough, which is the gov't employment dirty secret no one talks about... happens often, actually, just on a small scale.
