I have significantly less compassion for Canada geese than ducks. I don't know why. I think I'm bird-racist.

I've always wondered if the players on that team absolutely detest that movie. And if they have evil voodoo out on Emelio Estevez.

I like how the itty bitty ramp still has OSHA approved safety strips. Oh, Letter of the Law, you are hilarious!

Um, Skinny Girl Cocktail, anyone? Oh, and all the jackasses ordering Michelob Ultra aren't fooling anyone.

Actually, this looks to be fairly reasonable, rational, and intelligent debate here. I know, I'm semi-shocked too, but with the moderation, I've not seen anything all that troll-like.

It sounds like they have to cut the adult lung to fit a child, in which case it couldn't be reused.

I have this bizarre mental image of the mannequin craftsperson who got the call to make 30 Dolly Parton dress forms. Kind of a cross between Leonardo DaVinci and that dude from Dirty Jobs. "This will be my Magnum Opus!"

totally blind here too. I shave in the shower, then do a spot check afterwards when I moisturize. If I've missed any spots, I dry shave them at that point. It's a process.

Who has the worst job ever? That emcee. Worst. Job. Eva.

And yet the Charlotte, NC, is still scheduled for October. Seriously? We have, like, 1/5th the people of any of those cities, and 1/10th the compassion.

I agree that is probably their intent, but even so, I wouldn't give my husband a "passionate" gift for Father's Day. It's just not a Passion-worthy holiday. Now, Arbor Day's a whole different story...

As the designated bacon-cooker in my household, a plate of bacony goodness cooked by someone else just for me would be the epitome of luxury and emotional fulfillment. I think that means I need to get out more.

Is it just me, or is it creepy to describe a fathers day gift as "a personal expression of your passion"? I mean, it's my dad, man. Gross.

This is going to get buried, but my guess is Take 5 has suffered from Federalitis. This is when a well-intentioned but poorly supported (lack of lobbyists or connections in congress) group has a good idea, applies for budgeting/grants to cover a number of functional areas, and only receives partial funding. One thing to think about... Fluorescent lights (like those in typical office drop ceilings) do emit UV light, especially the ones that are designed to look "warmer," or older tubes that have lost some of their protective inner coatings. A European Commission study cited a 10-30% increase in UV exposure and a 4%

what SPF do you suppose virgin blood has?

T-shirts. We need "Lust-Drunk Witches" t-shirts, stat.

I don't think "flattering" has to be about making one look skinny. But I also don't think the jacket does anything for the placement of her shoulders or boobs compared to the rest of her body. It's just my completely untutored opinion, but to me, it looks like a tire tread burrito.

Oh, I totally agree about Sen. Gillibrand, and it's great there are a number of women actually "sitting" on the committee. I used the wrong term. I meant only one sitting in on the hearing for the committee (per the photo, at least).

Lentils are sooooo 2012. Forget lentils. Quinoa will solve all your problems now.
