The suspect they were chasing had potentially already discharged his weapon. That’s why LEO’s where called in the first place.

You are refusing to see what is plain on the video. He pulls the gun with his right hand, then that hand transitioning to the left in front, then the cop firing.
Look up the definitions for possession and then brandishing. They aren’t the same definition. What got him shot was pulling the firearm out.
Most likely the person(s) that called the police about a man firing a gun in the air. Unfortunately, due to physics that I learned about in high school, what goes up must come down.
Citizens sitting on a curb with a bottle off alcohol (gin?) with the butt of a gun sticking out of their pockets need to be trained to comply with lawful orders, not flee, then actually pull their gun.
1:39 in this video is what precipitated the use of deadly force (among all the other stupid actions he took):
No, Mr. Blevins died due to his own stupidity. I just watched the same video that the jury is going to watch. The shoot was clean. Mr. Blevins fucking pulled a firearm out while running. It’s indisputable. He failed to comply with multiple lawful orders to stop and raise his hands.
I replaced the cam sensors in 60 minutes. Had to remove the intake plenum.
Still a 3.7 litre
I just flew to Phoenix, round trip for $147 in coach. It as a little over 3 hours each way. I can put up with a bit of discomfort vs 4-5 days of driving or weeks walking.
Here:
My 99 Altima (2.4 litre) made it 214K miles. Replaced clutch, half axles, oil pan (gasket, pickup), fuel filler neck, and a resistor for the High fan AC.
Six witnesses testified, including what happened that necessitated the call to police. This will be appealed to a higher court of course and the same information presented. Hopefully a jury trial so this can be put to rest.
I test drove a 2006 LTC with 50,000 and the ask price was $6K. It was owned by a church kid you not. Clean as a whistle.
Have a 2003 G35 with 118K miles. Replaced a starter, and both cam sensors.
No you racist. It’s not White Male Privilege. I worked at a place where they fucking hired custodial services that kept that shit clean. I worked at another where:
I work in software dev and have seen female colleague’s volunteer to do something way below their level of training / abilities.
I would get:
My read is the dealer didn’t want to waste manpower on being the one that has to take the car over to an independent shop.
I think cars are now designed for survivability 1st. Repair / replace takes a back seat to that.
