Well, when getting divorced, you don’t have to have a Chrysler dealership to give the ex, but it helps.

I paid for my Infiniti with a personal check. The sales manager took it, handed me paperwork and put the temp tags on and out the door I went.

Make sure to give her the Chrysler Dealership.

And as a business you can tell someone that it will take 3-5 days for the check to clear and while that’s happening the car will be made ready.

I purchase cars in cash. How I do it is I work aggressively to get the OTD price as low as I can get it all the while letting them butter the F&I bread as thick as they think they can. Yes dealers can and indeed are able to dial the interest rate up. They get a buy rate and can mark up from there.
