I live slightly north of seattle (in Bothell) and we are getting buried. The city has 2 snow plows I think and they aren’t able to keep up.
I live north of seattle now where it snows maybe 1-2 days a year. Plus everything is crazy hilly so when it snows the area shuts down.
The grocery stores here sell a brand of milk that comes in glass bottles. You pay a deposit when you buy it and you get the deposit back when you return the cleaned glass bottle. It’s pricier than regular Kroger milk but it’s really creamy non-homogenised milk.
It was 51 yesterday over here and I was sweating. It was good.
Our cat wakes me up at 5 am to get fed so I bought him an automatic programmable pet feeder. I also installed a pet gate so he gets locked in the living room with his food and water at night when he behaves like a pest.
Just a heads up, it might give you migraines. It did for me. I would recommend buying a used one for cheaper in case it doesn’t work out.
Winter seems to have truly hit Seattle now but strangely enough the sun is shining brightly in the afternoon. The cold makes sleeping in so much more nice.
