The judgment scenes were pretty hilarious sometimes! My personal favorite being after you played through the swamp area:

Only those who stand to benefit from the status quo are still defending it. That and the stodgy olds that argue playing sports for free builds character or some shit.

We really need to get rid of this “their payment is a free education” bullshit, because it paints all players with the same brushstroke when that’s just inaccurate. Sure, a free education might be worth it for a kid riding the bench at Oklahoma State, but not for DeAndre Ayton, who could go sign a contract for serious

The Olympics had to finally just give up the pretense.

“the greatest basketball player ever not to play college hoops...”

*waits for Kobe fans to get triggered*

This is very true but you can still wait until you are in your 30's. When I grew up it was considered weird for Women not to have kids or a husband by their mid to early late 20's.

I literally just paid off the student loans for my BA yesterday. It took 9 years at $300 a month and the only reason I could afford to pay them off now (I technically had 2.5 more years) is because I got a divorce and my alimony covered it. I’m so frustrated with this system. I want (and need for my ‘dream job’) a

honey, $36,000.00 is an ~80% raise for me. the list of things i wouldn’t do for that kind of money is shorter. welcome to capitalism.

Which is worse: A culture that levies a miniscule fine for child porn possession, or one where dozens of adults - including law enforcement officials - ignore and enable actual child sexual abuse for *decades* because protecting the football/gymnastics/swimming program is the most important thing? Food for thought.

I’ve said it here before, but there’s truly very little I wouldn’t do to erase my massive grad school loans. Frankly, with my amount of debt, I’m a liability to a partner anyway.

Man, my mom was legit AGHAST when I told her I don’t think I’ll have kids because it costs SO much to raise a child now/medical issues that run in my family.

Its a tough one for women though. If you every want kids that clock is ticking regardless of whether Prince Charming shows up or not. Having children by yourself is tough (unless you have lots of family support). Not the same for men. One man I know has 3 different families with three different women. He recently had

“We small-market teams need revenue sharing to be competitive!”

Hot take: with more money you can land a better relationship too. Seed money!

I’m already past the age of when my parents had me, and I do not forsee a future where they would have grandchildren. Why? Because I can’t even afford to live by myself. Either they build the caretaker robots or give us MORE money.

As non Millennial, this is the correct approach to life. I can’t tell you as a 40 something year old man how many couples I know have gotten divorced or cheated on each other or are only staying together because of the kids.

These workers on average said that a $36,000 raise would convince them to put off having a relationship.

“Minor” = $15 hose from NAPA. $500 is NOT minor.

Looks good, but not $25k good. Also too many small, easily-fixable problems to inspire confidence in the sellers maintenance. Who doesn’t test the A/C for Pete’s sake, unless he’s afraid of what he might find, or knows, but is going for plausible deniability? CP

why buy this when I can get a literal bus with a stripper pole that just needs some brake work for 1/25th of the price?
