Or Angelina Jolie. After she and Billy Bob Thornton broke up I remember she said something like "I'll never be stupid enough to get a man's name tattooed on my body again." Words to live by.

Keira Knightley seems so smart and cool. I love that she included the bit about loving men because so many celebrities seem to use that as a rationale for not being feminists - as if those two things are mutually exclusive.

I really have nothing to add here except holy shit, that face. What is it like, I wonder, to look in the mirror and see that face looking back at you? This might just be my fangirl-ness speaking but I swear, she is getting more beautiful as she ages.

More details please!

I think I'd actually be kind of sad if they broke up. Though not as sad as I'd be if, say, Beyonce and Jay Z broke up...then I would cry because it would mean Love Is Dead.

"Hey Mom, did you ever consider naming me something other than Maya?"

Like mother like daughter, right? :)

"White women wearing bindis are called 'fashionable' and 'boho' but if a brown woman wears it she is made fun of."

I could see it on Shiloh Jolie-Pitt in a few years, if she's still got the same style then.

Sure :)

Key word: "heightened"

You should see Take Shelter. It's a great film and I thought Chastain was wonderful in it. Michael Shannon is also brilliant as always.

I'm really sick of Blake Lively's whole "I eat tons of cupcakes and never work out" shtick. Her arms, her waist, her legs - that is not the body of someone who eats lots of junk food and doesn't exercise. (I hope that doesn't come across as body snarking, because that is definitely not my intention.)

I love this look from the neck up. The jewelry, the hat (headpiece?), her ridiculously beautiful face and flawless makeup. But the dress is pretty awful.

I agree that she (and everyone else) was awful on Secret Life, but did you see The Descendants? Because she was actually pretty great in it. I think that's when Hollywood really took notice of her, and what a lot of her subsequent castings have been based on.

You should start that blog! It would be really interesting.

I think the OP was talking about the women who are fans of misogynistic rappers, not just those who work for them.

I feel like such an idiot, but...I don't get it.

Today is Shakespeare's birthday? Seems a bit strange that he's not being celebrated on Google Doodle then. (Yeah, that was pretty much my main takeaway from this article...)

They are so sweet! And lucky too; having a sister close in age is pretty awesome. I speak from a lifetime of experience :)
