It’s amazingly compelling when you consider how they took a 15-page bedtime read and made a legitimately funny full-length movie out of it. And supporting characters voiced by the likes of James Caan, Mr. T, and Bruce motherfucking Campbell really help tie it together.

That said, I don’t doubt that every teenager believes they have the most dysfunctional family ever.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is much better than its reputation. It’s not as good as Lego Movie or Spiderverse but it’s much better than your “average” animated movie imo.

I like this a lot, especially the relationship between the two kids.

The trailer is very, very misleading about the tone of this, turns out.

Casting Chrissy Teigan and John Legend as the annoyingly perfect family was a pretty inspired choice.

It’s basically the Adventures of Young Grunkle Stan, it’s great.

Somehow I got this series mixed up with Charles Burns’ Black Hole and I thought the trailer spent a surprisingly long preamble to get to the point of an STD that mutated teenagers.
