OT a bit, but this really is one of the coolest openings to a movie, ever.

I remember him from Wizards and Warriors that also, Jeff Conaway and Julia Duffy in it.
I heard it straight from a pulmonologist - smoke, don’t vape, weed. Something about our lungs not being built to inhale liquid in that way; he said it really isn’t good for you to vape it. (Edibles are what he recommends, obviously)
He was great. I remember him as Reverend Jim’s brother on Taxi, introducing himself to Alex as “The son who lived....”
I absolutely agree that any person has the right to not have a partner who does drugs, or smokes, or even drinks, if that’s where they draw the line. But (male or female) they’ve got to draw the line. Permission works if you’re predisposed to say yes, but want veto power over certain details (I’m fine with you going…
Whenever you have to say your partner will no longer give you permission to do something, it’s a bad relationship.
Heidi threatened to shoot Franny in the head and Debbie didn’t even seem to care.
Agree completely. This is a classic case of a show that never could move past a character because the person playing them is a “name”. Macy is a great actor and this character worked the first few seasons as some comic relief and to explain why the kids were so messed up, but this character should have been written…
Rossum won her pay equity fight, but basically wanted to move on to projects where she had more control. I don’t think it was a failed negotiation: she wanted to leave.
I think he did a pretty decent Cuomo. He seemed to walk through this impression (maybe he saw how weak the writing was and didn’t bother).

The thing I learned from this recap is that the brand of wine is real, may have been product placement and apparently it advertises heavily on one of the streaming services to which I don’t subscribe or to a different demographic than me.
Woof! Dog Park really does stink. Everyone should get hazard pay for that.
Clark reminds me of 1970s Bowie in that she’ll take on a whole persona while experimenting with new sounds and new lyrical themes. So even if she’s moving towards something different for a new album, you can take heart in that she’ll probably come back around to guitar-driven tracks soon enough.
Jeez, I was really let down by St. Vincent, especially so on her first piece. Theater was great. But if you’re a guitar god, be that god! Hope that’s not a trend for the rest of her new work. Reminds me of SK shrugging off the driving power of a certain world-class drummer..
1) Both the LW# 1 question and DS response are nonsensical. Not sure why he published this other than I believe that he is burning out.
Wasn’t that the plot of Grosse Pointe Blank?
I like how Dan thinks a third person would somehow be “less work” than the sex toys the husband currently finds so onerous.
Like at this point it’s video 101 to either keep your embarrassing stuff to another computer or put it in an incognito window and close that stuff down before you start doing work

He doesn’t initiate play because you keep referring to him as your huzzben
