I agree with this review -- less combat or better combat would have been better. Also once you got a couple of good powers for combat, you didn’t really need to use the rest of them.
I liked that until I came to a mission where I had to carry someone a giant ice cube and it took me two tries to realize that my flaming spear was melting the ice half way to the goal.
“adult colouring book type game” is a great description of it (and also some of my favourite games)
I could, I would translate it to French.
I’m reading A Desolation Called Peace — so far I think I like the first book in the series more. This one is more of a first contact and space war with weird aliens. It pairs strangely with Charlie Jane Anders’ YA book Victories Greater than Death which I’m listening to in audiobook form. At one point, both books had…
I liked Shuggie Bain for the writing, but I didn’t like the end much.
I liked Ten Thousand Doors too, but her next book (I can’t remember the title but it had Witches in it) was better.

Yeah, it takes a while to get going but maybe season 3 or 4 onward are great.
Yeah, she looked the part but I thought they changed her too much from the comics.
Was there anyone named Ramone in the Ramones?
Cecily’s first over-the-shoulder wine shot was a dead square hit right in Colin’s face, that was amazing.
She’s good in The New Mutants (most of the cast are actually), but it is not a very good movie. (I may be biased as a huge fan of the original comics, but I watched it with my daughters (who have seen all the X-Men movies except Logan) and they weren’t too impressed either.)
I don’t remember the book number, but there’s one where one of the main character’s girlfriends gets kidnapped in the prologue, and all book I’m waiting for the exciting rescue sequence — but that doesn’t come until the next 700+ page book...
