I was able to drive a 1979 930 Turbo in this color combination when I worked for a small, semi-exotic dealership a friend owned (I was 19).
To say it was scary was an understatement. Powerhaus exhaust, K27 turbo (we didn’t know when we purchased it), and absolutely no boost below 3000rpm.
It would do 130mph, in THIRD

His CVT transaxle:

They should just rename this the “Not Getting Any Pussy” club.

Here’s what to expect:

That some lean you’re sippin’ on ?

Treacherous? Looks like my daily commute up 285 here in Denver,CO.

Drive Loveland Pass after a good snow-storm sometime, then you’ll know treacherous.

Uhh....so $700 in basic repairs and he owns a E36 in the UK, which instantly makes it a rusty piece of shit.

There is very little out there as cheap to run as a US spec E36 M3 as a daily driver. I happen to own the less powerful, yet insanely reliable Japanese alternative, the IS300.

I’ve done nothing to my IS300 but

This is what I just put on their comments page:

I’m going to create bumper stickers that say “I diddled Texas’ little gina’. Love, Colorado.”

Exactly!

It’s because of the one of the biggest truths in existence:

Wealth does NOT allow you to purchase Taste!

I actually work for Halliburton as a field engineer. Just scary times here.....Wyoming Sweet is trading at $18/bbl. I just hope I can make it through the next month or so.

In all honesty, I loved the curriculum and industry. Just sucks that the timing was a little off.

Too bad the guy didn’t strip it, cage it, and race it. He would still have some value left and it’d be a helluva fun track day car.

CUZ DRIFTO YO'!

Adapt interpretation. Dat’ Clownshoe Dough’.

You should have seen the powerbrake burnouts it would do. I literally created a whitewash that spilled onto Arapahoe rd in Denver onetime.

Only 420whp but 600lb/ft of torque. I will say I got a lot of thumbs up from thuggish cats in Atlanta and Denver when I would drive it. It’s like a G-Body Monte Carlo to the street

Dat shoebox dough’.

Sweet ass cars. Last real vehicle with old school BMW character (I had a E28 535is in highschool. I still miss it).

Pretty likely that will be happening soon.

That’s good. My friend had a C5 RS6. The belt was near the rear of the engine. And needed to be done every 35k miles. It was a royal piece of shit.

You forgot one that should readily usurp the E60 M5.

E46 M3. All M3's maintain value better than the 4 door big brother (E28/E34/E60's are all worth less than E24/E30/E46).

Find any E46 with a standard 6 speed with under 50k miles and hold onto it forever.
