I heard an ad on the radio yesterday for the Riide app, which is new to my town (and the US) and apparently allows you to get a taxi from an actual taxi company instead of just some random car driven by a stranger. I like that for a number of reasons.

If the much-maligned taxi operators can get their shit together

One of my friends and I had this theory earlier as to the actual origin of Zombie Deadspin’s extremely poorly written posts.

The difference is that I care about cars and would rather not see the the slimming down of ideas/design/manufacturing for the sake of an easy product release.

Imagine that for one moment I don’t give a shit. I get it, I don’t agree with the path they took. There’s nothing we can do about it. You know what’s more annoying than Toyota phoning it in? People that won’t shut the fuck up about it.

I wrote it <3

My face when I see the ten-thousandth BMW/Supra joke of the day.

I love Hamilton when he’s winning. He comes across as one of the most gracious winners in Formula 1. I hate Hamilton’s whinges when he’s at all losing. This, I know, is why I personally have never warmed up to him.

And Leclerc.

Everyone is still talking about Max as the heir-apparent, future champion.  I think we need to start discussing Alex Albon.

How many championships is that now, Lewis?

I loved during the post race interview when Brundle asked Verstappen about passing Hamilton at the end of the race, and Max (petulantly?) replied, “Well, there was a yellow flag.”

That was a damn good race for COTA. Shame about Mags bringing out the double-yellow in S2 at the end, or Max might have made it... exciting. I’m a Ferrari guy, so it sucks to see them have such a bad showing; Vettel’s suspension failure could have been catastrophically dangerous so I’m glad it was just a retirement

ABC still broadcasts football? What the hell?

Employers are wary of online degrees since there are so many diploma mills out there. And as someone whose hobby it is to take university classes, I would try to go to an actual brick and mortar school. Class discussions are very valuable and going to scheduled classes will help you study. You have to be SUPER

There are two sections, basically: DMs (the part you saw) and the chat rooms or channels. The DMs are accessed through the icon above this one. Click on the one I circled to get to the main list of chats.

I loved in practice how Hamilton was whining that Austin was “the bumpiest track in the world” and Anthony Davidson immediately commented “No Lewis, that’s Sebring”. Sure COTA seems bumpy (I like that, seems to add extra challenge) but at least its not actively trying to fling the cars into the barriers like Sebring.

Well, at least Bottas is doing his part to try and drag it out one more round.

Anyone else worried this is gonna be the last SNS?
