I live in Allentown and can confirm that a tux is never needed here.

Either that or someone who had money on Oklahoma.

They are not the exact same, and most people in the US do not use them interchangeably. You might use them that way, but many people do not. Any time I hear someone say “Grade X,” I notice it because it feels so odd to say it that way. “Grade X” is absolutely a predominantly Canadian thing.

If you're going to compare those three tracks, it is worth mentioning that there are 50% more cars on the track at Indy (33 vs 22), and that means you have a lot of drivers in the field who are not full time drivers in the series. I'm not saying your point isn't valid, but it's worth noting.

Misery loves company.

As a resident of Allentown, at least we know that we’re only deserving of minor league teams. We have the Flyers' AHL affiliate, and the AAA team for the Phillies. That's all we deserve.

I’m actually glad that I started going gray early (it runs in my family). I had a few gray hairs before I was old enough to buy a beer. Now at 33, I’m easily more than 1/3 gray up top and over 1/2 gray in my beard. But since it started so early, I never had an existential crisis about it. I never have to show my ID at

Great coverage but I would have appreciated fewer commercial breaks, especially when they didn’t always have the side by side footage of the race.

The fact that this year's super bowl was abysmal didn't help. That game made me question why I bothered watching something as awful as modern football, so I didn't really jump at the chance to watch more football a few weeks later with such stars as (*checks notes) Trent Richardson and Christian Hackenberg.

My dad is on his second Sebring after the first one got sideswiped by a truck. I was eyeing the Cascada for his eventual replacement.

I just heard this album today for the first time. Very good.

It's all relative. When you’re stuck in Columbus Ohio, Tampa is absolutely a destination city.

Pederson?

Nice to see that Jay isn't even verified.

I understand the appeal of driving older cars, really I do. But I can’t buy into your assertion that a car from 1981 is more efficient or reliable than a brand new Honda Accord.

Yes, I understand that visibility is important and can help you avoid getting into accidents. But is that really your only criteria for determining which car you'd want?

As much as I like the classic Accord, choosing between these two as a commuter car is a no brainer. I have plenty of visibility in my 94 Miata with the top down, but that just means that I can more easily see the SUVs drifting into my lane because they don’t notice tiny cars.

That's a pretty good theory. From the manufacturer's standpoint, model bloat also allows them to say things like "now with even more headroom/legroom/cargo space" every single year. Plus, they aren't just competing against themselves. If the Civic gets bigger, the Corolla has to also get bigger to keep up.
