True, but as an officially-certified old, I’ve discovered that dry skin (EVERYWHERE!), with the attendant itching and flaking, is an increasing problem. The solution, suggested by my dermatologist, is just to wash “the hairy bits” with soap, shower with lukewarm water, blot to dry (don’t rub), and moisturize.

Hah, I remember this. And having a conversation with my friends about it to see how they fell along the wash/no wash lines. Apparently we’re all dirty bitches because no one took the “must separately and thoroughly wash legs” route.
