I agree that she deserves a lot of the credit for this as well.

The only reason the ATC’s could start calling in sick was because Pelosi held the Dem caucus together in such an unbreakable front that the R’s couldn’t find anyplace to chip away at it. The fact that people don’t understand how hard that is doesn’t mean it’s not the most important aspect of the past month+. Boehner

Another DJR classic.

The Interior Corridor was probably pretty inhospitable through much of its existence - essentially a long narrow strip of tundra extending south between two walls of glacier. It might have been too bereft of resources to support a decent-sized hunter-gatherer population trying to move all the way down its length. And

the donald is 13,000 years late with his wall?

Which part is exhausting, the show or the fanbase? Also, if you’re not a fan, why do you read/comment on an article about it?

Aw! People like something you don’t like. That must make your tiny immature heart all cold.

It is an unwatchable movie

Kurt Vonnegut’s “Ice 9" is the real deal. Check it out

I didn’t mean the bill is a stunt, I meant the speech. It gets a lot of attention, but doesn’t really accomplish very much. I’m inclined to agree about the bill; I doubt we’ll get anything better, though I also doubt that the House is going to take up DACA.

The #BlueWave is coming, don’t you worry. It might be a #tsunami by the time it gets here, actually.

To all those who will scoff at actions like Pelosi’s, and accuse the Democrats in Congress of lacking the will to pursue progressive goals, this is what it’s like when you are the minority party in the House and Senate, and have a Republican (???) president and a conservative judiciary. You do what you can to win

Hope Hicks Dates Pricks.

Stop making sense. It’s an anathema to those people.

My money’s on: she did get a flu shot. For me/not for thee.

I also liked the statement and will be sharing it with my professional colleagues as a study in how to think about past employer mistakes and improve upon the current shitty state of things (in HR we advise on this shit all the time - who to fire, who to warn, how to investigate).

BUT WHY DID SHE WAIT SO LONG TO CURE CANCER? WHAT IS SHE HIDING?!

Very well said. She has the unique ability to make me cringe in the worst ways, but I deeply admire Hilary and her resolve. After all, she’s been under a microscope and crucified for every mistake for 30 years. And, for whatever reason (misogyny), she’s caught more heat over the years for her husband’s affair than

I liked this statement very much. This site wouldn’t give her a break if she cured cancer, even on a night when we had what amounted to a fascist rally in the Capitol.

I saw the statement in Facebook right after it was posted, didn’t even think about the SOTU. I liked the statement, I understood her reasoning and her regret. She makes no bones about the fact that hindsight is 20/20, in fact she devoted one of many paragraphs to that idea.
