Then I apologize. Pretty good snark for a person your age. (I’m only 21 years behind you.)

Peanuts. Nutshell.
In their case then, the argument should be that they can put out so many, some are bound to be great. HBO, in contrast, picks carefully and then nurtures. Netflix is like, “Here’s some money. Make some TV.”
I’m fully supportive of good documentaries, science shows, and the odd British Period Drama, but I just don’t find myself watching the channel. Send some of their better shows over to AMC.
You’re doing the Lord’s work.
I like a few shows on all the networks (or some of the networks) but my point is that HBO, Netflix and AMC consistently find great shows with great production teams and either mentor them or leave them free (or some combination in between) to create, which makes more shows come out better overall.
Well, just for me, then.
Other than Transparent, I don’t think I’ve seen much on Amazon. I started watching the Handmade’s Tale and got bored.
Back in the day, young whippersnapper, we only had three, maybe four channels on TV, and if you wrote them, they took you SERIOUSLY, because every single show had like a 20 or 30 share, even if it was shitty.
I have nothing against the channels or their shows (ok, I do have issues with Legends of Tomorrow and Flash), but they get placed into separate bundle levels by the cable company and I end up buying another hundred channels I’ll never watch just to get those two.
Here’s the enigma of Archer (and similarly, Adventuretime) for me: I love them whenever I watch them, but I never commit the time to fully take in a season or more. I know I should, but I don’t.
I’d forgottoon that Louie is on FX. But can’t we just make a couple trades or buyouts and move the rshows from FX and the other channels to Netflix?
Yes it does.
I love It’s Always Sunny and saw the first season of Fargo.
For example?
Can we just put HBO and Netflix in charge of making ALL content for the “small” screen from here on out? AMC maybe too. IfI could have just those three services I’d be happy. (And yes, I know I can just select those three over the internet. If I can break the CW’s hold on my daughter and Animal Planet’s on my wife,…
2049 - 2019 = 30
You’re in Season Two? Cool. Season Three is where TNG goes from good to Best Ever. I envy you.
I’m fine with it. It’s a TV show, not the fucking Bible. And, yes, I am a massive ST fan.
Besides spelling errors, inconsistent punctuation on bullet lists drives me crazy, plus, lack of parallel construction of points.
