Our scout troop was as secular as they come. Certainly nowhere near the idea of a Christians-only organization. I learned a lot of stuff as a scout, and not just how to start a fire or whittle. I learned to be of service, which is why I’m a progressive today, and not some fundamentalist prick.

Also, when you have your Eagle Scout court of honor, you invite the president, VP, governor, senators, etc. to attend. They don’t attend, but they write you a nice little letter (form letter, really) about how nice it is to be an Eagle Scout. My president/VP combination? Nixon and Agnew.

Whether you want to admit it or not, had the Bernie or Bust crowd grown up and chosen Clinton instead of Trump, Clinton would be president right now.

Except that I’m right. A vote for Sanders or Stein (or Johnson) was a vote for Trump. Fact.

The people who swallowed the alternative facts from Putin’s leaks didn’t vote for her. Those people included many Bernie or Busters. Had they voted for Clinton instead of Stein or Sanders, she would be president.

The side of Everything Good lost this election by fewer votes in the four swing states than voted for Stein or wrote in Bernie. Period.
