I don’t think she’s guilty of anything beyond a parking ticket or maybe slapping Bill a few times really hard, but a blanket pardon would call off the wolves. Trump’s voters want blood and they’re going to keep after her forever, evidence or not.

I’m not sure. Ford didn’t just pardon Nixon for specific Watergate-related crimes. It was a sweeping, all-inclusive pardon just in case. Ford wanted the matter dropped so the country could get on with business. Imagine the rukus if Watergate had happened during the Internet era.

I don’t think so. I remember seeing an auto-signing machine waaaaaay back in the day, that would allow someone like a president to do like ten signatures at once, but I bet even that could be challenged.
