He’s doing it because the president has to be above petty emotional outbursts. It’s why Obama’s message upon Castro’s death was a wish to look forward with the people of Cuba, while Trump’s was gloating over the dead body of a dictator.

I think you’re right that even the Presidency is not a shiny enough object for Trump. He’ll get bored and resign, and Pence will be president. It will suck worse for social programs and human rights, but at least we may (may) lose the threat of nuclear annihilation. There is no best scenario here unless Giant Meteor…
SOS?
They don’t use that where I’m from and I’ve never seen anything in the media about snowflakes equating with just white people. So I don’t think it’s either a derogatory term specifically for whites, nor does it imply your alternative example, which I have never used, and which I would never use, frankly. It’s like me…
I think the third parties did it. (That’s not an accusation. I think the data shows that.) Trump only got 46% of the vote nationwide. There were just so many other directions for confused and disaffected voters to go in. In my own precinct in Washington State, with about 1000 registered voters, we had an 80% turnout…
I’m angry with the far left for what they did in this election to help desteoy Clinton’s reputation, but With Sanders I’m still mostly dissapointed. It seems like he got caught up in some bad advice and now he can’t bring himself to admit he was wrong.
It would be great, in the next post-apocalyptic movie, if every now and then one of the wrecked cars showed either a Clinton or Trump bumpersticker.
Johnson, at least, has a name befitting a sausage party. ;)
Wat? Who said the snowflakes represent white people? And who says brown people are stains of mud? That’s pretty harsh. The word snowflakes is used as a symbol of fragility, not because of its color, at least when I use it.
I seriously underestimated the resolve of some Sanders fans to hold onto their hatred of Clinton for so long. Clinton supporters started out very angry in 2008 but joined Obama enthusiastically in the end. I thought the same would happen again.
I am working to fix things. I am personally involved in my state’s Democratic party. But that doesn’t mean I can’t take the opportunity every now and then to remind the special snowflakes around here about the mistake in judgement they made.
But it’s true if you previously believe it to be true.
So confirmation bias is not a logical error, but a logical proof of truth.
It’s also not to much to ask of a voting populace, after Gore and Clinton had their party’s nomination, to do the right thing and vote for them. Fuck this attitude of “You don’t get my vote unless you earn it.” You get my vote because the other guy running is a fucking danger to society, and you’re not. That’s how…
Oh good. That will stop them. ;)
“President Trump threatens to sue...” is what they’ll say, but won’t actually sue anyone.
Dear Ann, this is the very definition of “your fault.”
Yep. Just the fact that you know it’s tearing him up inside makes the recount worth it. Though I agree, it’s not going to change anything.
If it turns out to be Secretary of State, please accept, for the good of the country.
Things look clearer under a tinfoil hat.
