I gotta know - WTF is “hovering up my gross”?

I’d be up for watching from a safe distance if you’d like to try.

I understand your point about JW, but I also do want to note that only eleven of 24 qualified drivers finished that race, with 74 laps of it being under yellow. That’s a terrifyingly high rate of attrition. Like, I don’t see it as Pocono’s fault specifically, but the nature of IndyCar racing as it played out on that

It’s 2019, it’s not a 3 piece and a cigar anymore, it’s skinny jeans, a man bun, and juule in your mouth.

huh.

Shocking. I always figured guys who bought Dodge Demons were totally zen and would only go to tracks after journaling their feelings and embracing their inner children, and then only to help others there self-actualize their potential. This comes as a great surprise.

As a volunteer at my local track, let me ask “what the hell are these dudes doing?”

You’re asking Jalops to save you from a terrible car purchase? You might as well draw the cash from your account and get ready for a trip to scenic Warren.

Actually dealers sold it as a standalone model.  It’s a Fiero under the skin but they sold it as a Mera.

The rational, sensible part of my brain almost clicked CP, as this thing has almost no redeeming qualities, and represents a lot of things I hate... But there’s that other part (the one that’s responsible for my history of terrible relationship decisions) that wants it, and would buy it, fix the body damage, spruce up

I was the 15th NP voter. I wouldn’t buy it, because I have no desire to own a fake Ferrari, but the Mera holds a strange place in the pantheon of fauxrraris. There is some provenance to a Mera, much like having a McBurnie Daytona. It’s a fake Ferrari, but it’s a real Mera.

C3: Okay, folks, thank you all for gathering today. We called this emergency meeting to discuss the overwhelming press coverage of the new C8 and what must be done to divert attention away from it.

Needs more lights.

That would be very cool. I always figured it deserved the 3.4 DOHC or high-output Quad-4 as engine options.

This NEEDS to ignite other companies to consider producing things.

Yeah, but my 20 year old truck has electrical tape and a missing bolt or two, while just now Tesla offers it from the factory.

Electric cars existed before the Model 3

The model 3 moving the needle on adoption of electric cars remains to be seen. Tesla, but dumping cash into their supercharger network has already moved the needle. I don’t CURRENTLY see the model 3 actually moving it that much more. It’s still too expensive for the masses.

There’s a new Corvette? I wish you guys would report on it appropriately, sheesh.

You just have to wait 25 years.
