I feel for Carole. She only participated in the first Tiger King because she wanted to raise awareness for legislation banning big cat ownership, and they went and convinced millions of people that she murdered her husband. I would be upset, too.

The original docuseries was chock-a-block with misogyny and the makers clearly didn’t care about destroying Carole Baskin’s reputation, leaving the allegations of assault and abuse hanging and overall thinking continually threatening violence and hiring someone to hurt or kill a woman is just some kind of screwball…

You could not pay me enough money to watch the next season of Tiger King. I hated the first one and I hated myself for getting suckered into watching it. It made me feel angry and sad and disgusted. 

and the documentary makers either bought that incredibly stupid and self-serving lie hook, line, and sinker, or cynically thought their audience would (which to be fair many did).

The entire idea of revisiting this story just makes me sad.

Imagine if this ends up succeeding again because we get out of the pandemic and we suddenly get nostalgia.
