It’s true. Hallmark Hometown is FILLED with handsome widowers in flannel with stable well-paying jobs while my hometown is...not.

Pricey because my library is a tiny rural library that’s not connected to a larger county system. Our operating budget is bitsy, so it’s just not an option for a library like us. Depending on the size of your library and the population you serve, it might end up being worth the cost for you.

I’m a small-town librarian, I get asked for book recs in the grocery store sometimes. And it’s fine! It’s part of living in the small town - you chat with the postman, you ask how the mayor’s kids are doing, ect. I get that people hate small talk, but it’s kind of a part of life. 

There’s one I buy at Natural Grocers sometimes that has salami and provolone. I can’t remember the brand right now but it’s a good on-the-go lunch.

They did Tamron so dirty. She was so good and her hour with Al Roker was doing so well. I still can’t believe they got rid of her for a Fox News blonde.

As a chronically ill person who’s spent a lot of time in the hospital watching Today, can confirm. The Today show got better when Lauer was fired because that dude suuuuuucked, but getting rid of Tamron for Megan Kelly was a huge mistake. Along with the racism, she’s just not a good fit for morning tv. 

It’s a very different show but the dialogue is definitely Amy Sherman-Palladino’s style.
