Look, he’s being inclusive of all the genders. He’s being progressive!
I love Cracker and hope she picks up her game a little. She’s already great - Dr. Dill was amazing - but I want her to turn it up a notch or two so she can get noticed!
There really isn’t and I say this as a Christian person. The persecution complex is STRONG and you can’t convince your fellow church-goers that maybe we should chill a little.
I just found out that a local ice cream shop serves Dole whip and it’s all over for me.
Omg, crying-laughing emoji. I’m so over this dude. Don’t want or need him as an ally.
He hasn’t even read Judith Butler? He’s not even trying.
I mean, don’t rule it out.
Apparently he was from Before, but it was much easier to ignore pests with Disqus. Not having a block user function is one of the things I dislike most about Kinja.
Also, SHS’s father claimed they were body-shaming Sarah just by casting Aidy Bryant to play her, so that’s where their headspace is at.
I must’ve user-blocked him bc I don’t remember him before the Kinjapocpolypse. That was a useful feature that Kinja could add if they cared about the commenting experience at all.
That’s kind of his whole thing. Performative allyship and scolding.
THANK YOU. Everyone thinking it’s a joke about her appearance probably hasn’t read/watched the Handmaid’s Tale.
This song haunts every spin class I go to.
Michelle literally came up with the name Golden State Killer. She began researching the case in 2007. Crediting the “podcast community” for this takes away from everything she did. Especially because many of those podcasts used her research from True Crime Diary.
I’m finishing up The Girls in the Picture, a fictionalized telling of the life of Mary Pickford and her best friend, screenwriter Frances Marion. It’s really fun and frothy, detailing the beginnings of the film industry and how these two women made their way to the top. Oh, and Douglas Fairbanks seems like a real…
MaxFun Con?
I was so excited the first time I went to Central Park because I was convinced I would find a dead body and be questioned by Lenny Briscoe.
His letter about reopening the damn email investigation arguably tipped the election to Trump. I’m not ready to forgive that.
The first two seasons were such soapy fun! The conspiracy to steal the election and the fallout from it was really great. It was after B613 was introduced that things got stupid and torture-obsessed. I wonder what the show would’ve been like if it had stayed a political soap.
