wow, Devonna. I feel like you described me as well. Adoptee, alcoholic (with other addiction issues as well). Vacillating between the two types....In therapy and have discussed EMDR but not yet done it.

I am with you. As a follow up to a great album, to me it did not disappoint at all. The only song on that album that I ever struggled to get into was Uncle Jonny. But Read My Mind—one could make a case it is their best song (just a case!)....Bones, This River is Wild, WYWY, and the title track...all great. And

Whenever I cook, I put the Killers on shuffle. Not sure why. They just work the best for me in that situation. I tried an all Mitski playlist a few weeks back and despite my deep lover for her stuff, it was just too melancholy.
