Except no, spamming doesn’t exploit anything except laggy connections. In a lag free environment; there are no moves that are effective to spam. In fact, Sm4sh has a stale moves system that makes repeated moves less powerful if you spam them.

With the huge amount of songs, I wonder how the royalties system works out for these games. How much does each artist (composer? musician?) get per song?

Not the worst idea. Could be passive until you virtually bump into something and have to battle. Add some fighter/team progression and a few goals (players team up to fight bosses?) and you’ve got some serious potential.

Perhaps for Early Access/Open Beta games, Steam could hide all pre-release reviews when a game is finished and send a notice to those who have reviewed it to review and confirm that their review is still relevant. For most people it would be just a couple of clicks.
I read it as “half of the population of the game”, assuming that half of the player base is female, having previously been forced to play Rust as a guy.
