Forever 21: The High Cost of Low Prices, (instead of Wal-mart)? It has everything to do with our hedonic consumerist mentality. I think among young people in particular, we value quantity over quality, with an obsession with novelty. Fast fashion is both the result and perpetrator of this never ending cycle.
