‘78 Caddy? Controversial choice.

Same with a mk1 AH Sprite but it’s a little lever instead of a cable

New Audi A4 is the same.

Wait, you were two hours north of the city and headed to the Jersey shore but crossed the Hudson by way of the GWB? Were your parents gluttons for traffic? Were they frightened by the Tap?

What sort of MacBook? There exist many inexpensive adapters to take Thunderbolt/MiniDisplayPort to HDMI, or USB-C to HDMI, or if you have a pro, just plain plug into the HDMI port.

Somewhat off topic, but what seat cover do you use?

Tornado Red, Pastellblau, BRG, and ...Crystal White Pearl =^/

What the front of the car? Accidentally the whole front of the car?

I’ll have to rewatch bits (and I agree, way underrated show) to be sure, but it seemed like his interaction was more than an unseen observer who was there all along and that could result in colorations of what went down. Wasn’t it mentioned/retconned that his character was one that nearly every member of the crew went

No question that he existed, just a question of how much the Great Man theory of history was at play in Riker’s vision. Any time I see a “it was all just a dream!” ending to a story, I have to assume there was an unreliable narrator all along.

Though the going theory is that everything we saw in that show was a fever dream / fictionalized holonovel written by Riker, so can we really trust his achievements as-seen?

E21 love today? Yay for a day of E21 love.

A favorite game to play at the vintage car races we go to is “Date or Daughter.” Can be quite challenging.

Same here. All I need is some slight practicality. Just need to drive a wife and a dog around. Dog transport precludes a trunk.

Can’t help but agree. I’ve actually gone and (gasp!) subscribed to a print magazine to get my car writing fix. Granted, it helps that ex-jalops Sam Smith and Zack Bowman write features with Peter Egan popping up often. I guess jalopnik has trouble sustaining that sort of talent, ironically enough.

A decent amount of my youth was spent being driven around laying down in the cargo area of a Bugeye with my head poking out between the seats. Also the same layout in a C2 Corvette.

Welp, that’s the funniest thing I’m gonna see today.
