Even as a HP diehard who has multiple wand replicas from Universal, the endless exposition and lore is both dizzying and boring, and almost none of these new characters have left any kind of indelible mark (although Dan Fogler is trying his damndest, he’s great). I dunno, folks. In the pantheon of finales that make me retroactively wish I had never seen the series at all, this one still didn’t hold a candle to How I Met Your Mother.

Given the constant sharing of her views by the writer I’m surprised there isn’t a scene where Jacob is banned from the toilets for being a muggle after being discovered following an examination of his genitals.

Waterston and Sudol were the heart of the first two films, and if Waterston’s role is diminished, so is my interest. But, really, I’m out regardless. Fuck JK Rowling. She won’t get a penny from me. (Not that the first two installments had me clamoring for more, exactly.)

A big part of the original movie was the soundtrack with music from The Cure, NIN, etc. If you’re gonna have a goth movie, you need the goth soundtrack to go with it.

Well, a certain former president to date has been able to get away with a lot so a lot of other people have *thought* they could get away with the same sort of thing and are finding out that they in fact cannot. They still stupidly felt empowered enough to try first, though which is the concern.

Considering that Radcliffe is the only celebrity I know to have gone on a major talk show and sung a Tom Lehrer song, I can think of far worse people to play Al. He seems like he “gets” it in the right way.
