None of this is okay without consent to search his property. The same outcome, for the same reasons you gave, would be fine provided they sought consent before searching his property.

Here’s more from Digital Bits:

I mean, for the time being they still own the biggest box office hit of the summer, which is a comic book movie sequel.

This can easily be fake because it’s just a PS5 controller attached to a android tablet. It would be pretty easy for a Modder to do.

As the Ad tier gets more popular we’ll likely see them eventually dropping the sub for that tier in order to try to get everyone to use there service.

Artificial intelligence has always been used as a term for a technology that *appears* intelligent. It doesn't mean a technology capable of thinking for itself because that has never happened outside of science fiction. Heck, scientists can barely come up with a definition for thinking to begin with!

I think you might be burying the lede here. If I’m reading this right and they’re also now banning headwear, that’s a tactic used to ban a lot of culturally and religiously headwear.

One good thing about ad the ad tier as it gets more popular is that writers and actors will be better residual pay from it because it’s paid per view whereas the sub gets split to cover pretty much everything.

Did you skip both Clone Wars and Rebels? I happened to watch both and enjoyed them for the most part, but I’m curious for anyone who didn’t, how did it impact your ability to watch Mando/BoBf (assuming you watched either/both of those) when Ahsoka showed up? I take those things for granted but I wonder how it impacts

The reason Valkyria is over the shoulder is because you’re mostly shooting guns (and taking cover from being shot at). Why would you need that view for melee and magic combat?

Eh...that actually sounds awful to me? Like 60% of the charm of FFT was how incredible well done the spritework is in that game. The 2D art in FFT is top tier for the time, and the animations had real weight and impact to them. It’s part of the reason I prefer FFT to Tactics Ogre, even if TO is a deeper game overall,

I dunno, the story is great in FFT but I think the main reason people love it is the gameplay system (way more than something like FF7 or any other RPG of the time). Seems kinda like a remake that strips out the gameplay is missing the point.

No one is getting “punished.”

I dont buy that. if that was ‘millions of dollars of content in the freezer, they should have gotten someone there right fucking now to fix it.

I mean, that’s not how the world works? They determined the samples would be okay until the date someone could come and fix them (they were backlogged a week), and put like, 80 signs with arrows saying DO NOT FUCKING UNPLUG THIS, and the guy did it anyway?

Tell me you didn’t read the article without telling me you didn’t read the article.

Pixar is becoming a little predictable. And while they continue to mine interesting topics (death, after life, emotions, immigrants) these aren’t topics that get kids saying ‘I want to see that’. There’s also the fact that everyone knows they’ll be on Disney + within months - and if you’ve already paid for that, why

i know a lot of people think the main reason is ‘everyone was trained to watch pixar movies on disney+’ but i don’t think it’s that.

Never said they produce the same amount. I said they both produce, and that both are solved by a better solution.

I mean you’re right about why Disney does these risk-averse remakes and sequels but also comparing Lion King to Turning Red is a weird comparison to make.
