Maybe i am reading to much into it, but it seems to show a lack of faith in "Echo."

That logic makes no sense. Other platforms also required you to use them in order to play games purchased on said platforms. Yet Steam became the dominant platform on PC. Steam has, at every point of its existence, had competitors in the PC digital distribution market: Stardock Central, Impulse, Gamefly, Gamestop,…
There is so, so much more “Legends” stuff from the old Star Wars EU that they can bring into this. That’s not even getting into the really fringe stuff like the RPG books or the weirder comics.
Hold up, under what perception are we working under that ANY of this material even came from the original trilogy?
The Kylo Ren films were all clearly taken from the Jedi Academy books, complete with the offspring of Han and Leia turning to the dark side.
They haven’t even begun to star wars.
There’s a great rise & fall movie to be made about Sierra.
I thought the series had become a lot smaller since CS:Source.
If it’s good, people will come. It doesn’t matter what the subject is.
I honestly think Fraser either didn’t think he’d actually win or was so overcome that he was clearly just processing it all in real time
I think that, traditionally, usually a long-time actor who is well regarded in the Hollywood community will always win the Best Supporting Role Oscar if they have never won before. It’s very often a lifetime achievement award.
I don’t understand why you keep saying it’s ending when you literally said it’s continuing.
Then...Naruto isn’t really ending.
not sure what your problem is with an actor having preferences about what they like to watch. do you need a nap? are you just that special kind of dumbfuck that seems like they’ll die if they don’t complain out loud for others to hear every five minutes like some kind of embarrassing negativity-fueled shark?
This trailer had the feel to me of what you would get if you asked an AI “make me a spy series trailer.” It covers all the familiar bases, but nothing feels unique or like a real hook into the series. Maybe the series will be better, but the trailer doesn’t leave me hopeful. Which is sad, because I like Stanley Tucci…
Agreed. Nuance is lost. “I am right. They are wrong.” Repeated over and over.
Notice the “othering” going on in the article and the reactions too. They say they make “pop culture YouTube videos”, that they’re “tech guys”. Y’know ignoring that their videos are largely focused on VFX and 3D animation. Cause the people that insist AI is satan love to pretend that all ”actual artists” must be as…
The article is just drenched in outrage. This is on par with the kind of burn-it-all-down writing you find in response to a tweet about how maybe a 25% tip for take-out is a bit much.
I’m in my 40s, I love Hook, it was released at the right time for me.
As an actual kid at the time of release, Hook was easily in my top 5. You don’t know what your talking about.
Hook was brimming with child like wonder for me. The imaginary food fight? I’m sorry I unabashedly love Hook.
Robin Williams death fucked me up as a kid but this movie is definitely part of that. I remember…
Wait people didn’t like Hook? I’m 31 so sometimes I’m surprised by the cultural conversation surrounding things that were released when I was a kid but my gosh I have so much Hook nostalgia. RUFIO RUFIO!
“There you are Peter” *stretches smile on Robin Williams face*
It’s a friggin classic.
