I can stop working and fire up Jedi: Fallen Order in about two and a half hours. I am so amped.

I don’t even know how I got so worked up for the game. It’s been ages since I was super excited about something, and Star Wars isn’t usually a thing that does it.

Don’t let me down, Respawn. Haha, jk. The people who made Titan

Thankfully things have been much less of A Week at work, but I’m still glad for the weekend. I’ve got some more stuff planned in the workshop, but I’ve been missing out on some quality gaming action the past few weeks. I’ve been playing Tetris 99, but I kind of feel like I’ve been spinning wheels with what I want to

You know a game shit the bed when Jim Sterling does a post-mortem and it becomes outdated a few months later.

me every time there’s a new fallout 76update”

Xbox put on a great show and delivered to their fans.  We all know the big hit games are waiting for E3 to be shown/talked about.  I’m happy with how great the Game Pass is becoming.  Best deal there is out there

If you raise your hand to your partner (absent a credible/believable threat of imminent deadly or maiming force issuing from them first, anyway), you’re a piece of shit.

Full fucking stop.

I try to be understanding and open-minded on most things; life is complicated, and the world vast—there are many paths through it

How Splinter and Deadspin were handled was atrocious, the having Splinter go dead and having no announcement whatsoever was shitty on the part of Spamfiller and Madman. They should have dropped in a post like this when they pulled the plug.

Hey, look who’s here to remind everyone that the death of Splinter isn’t *all* bad.

Shutting down the only dedicated politics website in your portfolio right before the 2020 election, one of the most consequential of our lifetime, kicks into high gear. Essentially shutting down the second-most highly trafficked website in your portfolio because one out of every twenty five posts rankles you. I’m not

Splinter was a damn good website.

As long as Boomers act exaggeratedly offended when they hear it, OK Boomer will live on.

Not only that, it makes good basis for every other organization to bar him from participation in any events or tournaments, as well as deny him access to any platform for his benefit.

Now playing

“In reality, every single one of these employees who has worked on the last couple of games should be unemployed right now.  [...] We deserve justice”

Guy sounds like a massive child. What an absolute idiot.

Playing it.

Towards the end there was a period that felt like a bit of a slog to me because I didn’t know what to do next, and I should note that I’m a fast reader, so 26 hours might be on the low end of the spectrum. But this is the rare game that justifies its length. There are no obnoxious filler quests or parts that feel like

or a fascist herb.

Behaviorally, ironically, indicative of the 1% I think. They are at the top and are more interested in staying there than actually “being” the best. This is a form of cheating. Bust ‘em down to zero stats... hell, put ‘em in the negatives and make ‘em work for it.
