I wonder how well Alyx will sell. The market for VR is still extremely limited, and even the required specs are a little daunting (according to my PC friends). Dropping at an optimal time though, with social distancing and self isolation being the norm. Not so much for those folks strapped for cash though.

Some who work or worked for Naughty Dog say they believe that if the company doesn’t find a way to solve the crunch problem, it’ll solve itself through attrition.

It’s a bit of a shame to see him go to Blizzard. I feel like his creativity will be stymied by the likes of Activision. Microsoft, on the other hand, seems to be less heavy handed with their first party studios than they used to be.

I’m a bit more interested in Diablo 4 now, so there’s that.

Blizzard has zero credibility these days. Everything they touch is blighted. I hope fans of the company start to wait before purchasing their titles. They aren’t the same company who pushed out quality games anymore. They deserve the same scrutiny Activision and EA get.

A part of me wants to know if the discord actively contributed to this dude’s child porn stash. If so, I hope the FBI tracks them down as well. But another part of me wants to believe the Nintendo fans in said Discord would report such stuff to authorities.

Just buy a Switch people. It makes flying immensely better and you’re less of an asshat. 

I thought about buying Kakarot when I saw it on sale for 50$. I figured the game wouldn’t be great, but nostalgia would get me through it. Then I saw the Persona dancing games on sale for the same price. So I bought that instead. Seems like I made a good call. 

I really like Joshua’s writing. So I hope he lands somewhere solid. A place where an herb can’t tear up foundations.

A new dashcam for my car. My car was vandalized earlier this year, and my older cam was stolen. So I’m excited to finally capture footage of my driving in the snowy canyons of Utah. I like to make a montage each season. Now I need some major snowstorms to make up for my lack fall footage.

If there is another Witcher game, I will need this song to be in it. I would even take it in Cyberpunk 2077. It’s almost a guilty pleasure song for me because I want to listen to it on repeat.

Golf Story was the first game I completed on my Switch. I absolutely adored it and would have poured another 20 hours into it. So I'm extremely happy it's getting sequel.

Never played Vanquish but I will take any reason to replay Bayonetta. Now if Platinum and Nintendo could just give me the third installment already...

P.S. “10th Anniversary Bundle Launch Edition” is a mouthful. Also seems like there are other bundles that will be available at some point? Sorta weird to phrase it this…

It’s a little mind boggling that we went through a whole generation of consoles with no new Bioshock. That being said, I'm a little worried how 2K might ruin the Bioshock formula with it's current monetization practices.

This is mildly depressing. Cecilia has done amazing work, and we’ve seen it start to pay off recently with Riot paying its female employees what they’re due. Either way, I hope she finds greener pastures than these. She definitely deserves it. Going to follow her on Twitter now, to keep up of course.

Snoop Dogg makes everything better. I would watch golf if he was the commentator. Hell, I would play a curling video game if his voice supported it. 

Can the player no longer earn currency in game? Or is the only way to access the items in these blueprints is by paying actual money now? Because that almost seems worse than the crate-gambling situation. Then again, if this is the same way Fortnite runs its marketplace, I might just be getting out of touch.
