The thing is, he doesn’t have a liking. He doesn’t have an ideology beyond slogans, and has no understanding of or interest in any of the issues involved. He’s just signing what his handlers put in front of him, because he wants to be liked and the people around him are all either standard-issue republican…
I’m sure he’s in the mix somewhere.
Well, thank goodness. This clears the way for Trump to nominate his real first choice: Paula Deen.
They got conned. It’s easy to get conned by a pro who’s been running cons his whole life. Most people don’t have defenses honed to that level of outrageous lying. New Yorkers are lucky in that sense; we know this guy and his lifelong racket. The rest of the country is just catching up, hopefully they’ll catch up fast.
There’s been a big increase in autism diagnosis. Because we understand a lot more about it, and the kid who used to just be “weird Larry” is now understood to be on the spectrum.

$21 billion is government lowballing. The final price tag will probably be double that. And then we’ll have a giant ugly fence that people will just go over, under or around if they need to. Remember the Berlin Wall? That surely reflected well on the people who built it.
Nice work, 9th Circuit!
Annnnnd the 9th Circuit weighs in. As of tonight:
The DNC does not have the power to abolish the electoral college. Nor does the president. It would take a constitutional amendment, which is frankly impossible in this divided political climate. The electoral college isn’t going anywhere.
Very sharp! :)
There are plenty of checks on him. The judiciary is only the most obvious one this week. Believe it or not, the republicans in the Senate are another one.
