Look, I LOVE FF7. It’s probably my favorite game ever. But to pretend it doesn’t have some (quite sizable) plotholes is to wear glasses more rose colored than Aerith’s clothing. The rest of the trailer looks amazing and spot on to the spirit of the original game, so I’m keeping an open mind to the additions,

Exactly! The best shows (not counting those actually cancelled before their time) make you wish, “man, I wish that had one more year”, rather than the endless “Show hasn’t been good since season 6" debates.

I got burned by this once before. I’ll believe it when I see it on the shelf/on XBL Store.

“Think about it. Take any movie in the world and 20 minutes in, Godzilla shows up. I guarantee you it’s more entertaining.”

That’s an awesome point too. I discovered a couple of real gems just from the “huh, the game I wanted is already gone, lets look around and see if something looks cool” factor.

Ha, part of me really wants show this article to my mom who wouldn’t let me stay home “sick” from school to play video games when I was that age.

Blockbuster was my happy place in my early teen years. Back when I had tons of free time, very little money, and could beat most of those tiny 16-bit era games in a weekend, it let me play FAR more games than buying would have.

I’m sure that’s next now that they’ve covered zombies and outer space.

While I agree the finale of Seinfield is terrible (and probably the worst ep of the entire series), it didn’t leave any lingering malice for me because it doesn’t completely screw the rest of the show’s value. The gang doesn’t have a change of heart and become good people, there’s no retcon or anything, and where it

Halo is really only very slightly less realistic than CoD.

I don’t see Beyond Oasis/Story of Thor listed. Criminally underrated Genesis ARPG. Saturn sequel was also pretty good, but not as good.

YES! I refer to him as “Television’s most punchable face”

Many of the good boys/girls I’ve known over the years very clearly think they’re peoples, so I think they’d take it as praise

It’s been a very long time since I played it, but I seem to vaguely remember that if you set the emulator to the US/NTSC version it’d run the game at 60Hz. I know that was true for a lot of the Euro stuff, and if so it was still off somehow.

I have so many questions, but the most pressing ones are What, WHY, and WTF?

If you told me back when the series was following the books more closely and was better quality (say season 3 or 4) that the end of Dany’s path was her giving into the darker qualities of her Targaryen bloodline and burning King’s Landing to ash i’d go “yep, okay, that makes sense. I see that happening after the Red

Oh huh, that’s the first I’ve ever heard of such a hack. Will definitely have to see if I can’t hunt it down. I have no doubts of this thing being jailbroken fairly quick.

They really are, I wish more companies would take their gold standard for how to preserve and present classic gaming to modern audiences.

M2 is handling the emulation and they’ve been very generous with options on the Sega Ages stuff. I’m hoping that the Mini follows suite, so it’s not impossible we’ll see that.

It’s a damn shame that Wiley Wars, while looking much better than the NES version, doesn’t PLAY anywhere near as well. The physics feel off somehow, have never been quiiite able to put my finger on what isn’t right about them. Still awesome to see it finally getting an official US release outside of Sega Channel
