Fuck Gamestop. Seriously, fuck gamestop. I’ve hated that company for years because of how they act towards customers, but this is just straight up maliciously endangering your employees. I hope this puts them out of business for good.

Wild Wheel, both in the head sculpt and the general shape of his car mode, makes him look like Scourge cosplaying as a cowboy. This only makes me like the figure even more.
Oh yeah, if you’ve no interest in killing Emerald and Ruby like 80% of the game (from a time/grind standpoint) becomes optional, and you can clear the whole thing in 20 hours, easy.
The Saturn always feels like a “what could have been” waste of opportunity to me, but there were some real gems on that machine. Radiant Silvergun is most certainly high on that list.
For me it was the even worse Saturn version, but I made do with what I had and loved that game. “Nuclear Launch Detected” was when I got the flashback smile. I’ll be picking this up.
Wow those things are UG-LEE. I can hardly wait for Paunch to tell me about how many JD Powah awards they have.
The original PlayStation is one of my favorite consoles ever, and kept me out of a heap of trouble in high school. I remember being really against it when it came out, baffled that Sony, a discman/music company would dare go up against Sega and Nintendo. I figured they’d get annihilated. How wrong I was. But a few big…
I’ve always kinda wondered if perhaps it was a kid and a puppy - both too young and naive to realize the potential danger of the other. Kid offers some scraps to a pup separated from the pack, pup sticks around, people realize it’s kinda helpful (it smells prey, or alerts them to hostiles) and keep it around, and so…
It took a long time, but over the past few years I’ve been seeing people around the ‘net finally realize Cross is a phenomenal, peak Golden Age Squaresoft JRPG. I remember when it came out everyone hated it because it was (as you stated in the article )a TERRIBLE sequel to Trigger, but as it’s own game, it’s close to…
The amensia nonsense straight up DID ruin the game for me. I hated the badly designed combat system (it’s trash. It’s the most broken, badly balanced, exploitable system in the entire franchise. Fite me) from the word go, but I stuck with it because “hey, it’s still an Final Fantasy, the story’ll be worth it, even if…
Yep, that’s me in a nutshell. I can’t good a damn, i always bring alcohol, which I vary based on the gathering (Thanksgiving is wine and maybe a bottle of something harder, 4th is beers, etc).
I’ve long loved the concept of VR for gaming, but there’s yet to be anything that feels like it really is a true, from the ground up, AAA+ flagship designed for VR killer ap that’s sold me on the hardware investment required to get that.
Me, during that play: “They’re gonna try to pull the Pats offsides. then go for it on 4th and short, and if not, take the delay of game and punt.”
Eh. Can’t get too mad. First game was amazing, and I’d rather they take the time to make this one just as good without a horrifying crush for their employees. Lots else coming out the next few months to play.
Oh man, i can’t wait to see the Bethesda apologists that jump to defend this game every time I post something snarky about the latest part of the dumpster fire that is Fallout 76 try to defend this.
Autoplay is the embedded MIDI of the modern internet.
Street Fighter: The Movie The Game says hi
As bad as Bucknor’s strike zone is in every other game, I’m not convinced he made that call out of anything but incompetence.
Both next gen platforms are backwards compatible, this is a cash cow, and that’s EASY extra free money for Squeenix -
Me and a buddy I lost contact with (if you’re out there, hey Dan!), that pined for a remake for years and years agreed we’d ONLY ever acknowledge her as Aerith if they put out a remake using that name.
