Held off on picking this up for my XB1 or PS4 in hopes of a Switch port. Glad to see patience rewarded. Genesis has always been among my favorites. 

I own an Xbox 1 X and not gonna lie, legit like 60% of the reason I bought it was i wanted a 4K blu-ray player since 4k streaming isn’t really viable where I live. Figured if I was spending that much I might as well get one that plays games in 4k too. 

The launch models, the rail used to guide the lens was plastic and sat over the power supply. As it heated up the rail would eventually warp and not sit flush. Flipping it over caused gravity to do the work and force it into place. 

Really wanted to love this thing because I have such fond memories of the original PS, but I just can’t with that games list. When they inevitably wind up on clearance at Target/Walmart, I’ll pick one up.

I thought about it long and hard, but ultimately I had to vote for Gruden.
