I was mad at the kid until I read that quote. Beautiful. :D

Crisis Core is a pretty good game, and the ending is wonderful, and it has some really nice moments, but it suffers from Star Wars Prequel disease, that in order for it to work, it requires everyone in the original story (ANH/FFVII proper) to be a complete moron with no grasp of recent history. And I mean, granted, 7

I watched it after reading your comment, *really* hoping it was the Bruce Springsteen song of that name because that, truly, would have been perfect for this trailer and C&C in general since EA :D

For a very brief moment I was VERY confused trying to remember this level, I knew it’d been awhile since I played Dante’s games. I don’t remember them being THAT over the top absurd. oh. Right, not that Dante. That series was called Devil May Cry. I need sleep :D

Came to post this too. Even my dog “owns” her crate and bed and toys and thinks my yard belongs to her :D.

See, I loved that ending because it was so wonderfully ambiguous. In a game where everyone is searching for something.. answers, a place to belong, memories, peace, etc, the game left you to answer the ultimate question of “what happened at the end” for yourself. Did the party (aside from Nanaki) survive Meteorfall?

I swear bees must be the dog version of Fugu.

I read M2 was doing the Switch ports, which I’m super excited about though that seems to imply no Virtual Console, but all I heard is ATgames is doing the MD Mini. Hope you’re right.

I dunno, to me Sega’s systems (the Master System and the Genesis) always looked “futuristic”. In the “this is what the 80s think the future will look like” Back to the Future sort of aesthetic sense, and i kinda still dig that.

AtGames means the emulation’s still trash so pass. Sad, it looks cool.

To this day the fact that Sega canceled the sequel to that has been top of their many unforgivable crimes to me.

You either paint or try drying.

Thanks for saving me money Mike! I love pirate lore in general and was pretty interested in this, but I enjoy the type of MP where I can grind by myself for awhile and get lost in the world if none of my gaming pals are on, so this sounds like a pass unless a buncha people I play with all get it.

Well, I imagine it matters to Sony too.

See, i’ve played every great game from that era to absolute death. The SNES IMO is the greatest system ever in terms of “great games library”. But i still love that era of gaming and am very open to “new” traditional 16-bit style games. Plus, lets face it, there’s a lot of clunky interface/quality of life stuff that

Preach. Was coming here to post exactly that.

I know it’s not the same Compile exactly, but they have most of the rights and I’ve waited 30 years. Golvellius 2 before I die, please?

Yeah, I was totally thinking the Turbo needed to put to Overclocking use too. Upvote for beating me to it :D

Until the game glitches, and it will, and outs a real player. Hopefully not one in a country where it’s still considered illegal (which is horrible).

Those are the only kind of speedruns *I* personally care about. I find “perfect” runs done with just playskill really fun to watch. While there is a massive amount of skill/patience/dedication i totally respect that goes into stuff like these glitch runs, I just don’t find them appealing beyond the “huh, neat bug”
