And lo, did Mike Zimmer carve out one eye and cast it into the well of Mimir as was done by great Odin. Not to gain wisdom, but to spare it from having to watch another Vikings season.

It’s cool to see an older player still developing his game this late in his career. The Kings knew they were signing a great rebounder and post scorer, but now they’re getting a distributor too.

I bet his kids won’t be allowed to meet Mercury Morris.

Putting a poor, inflated giant in front of an NBA star may get a lot of replays, but other-Weis it’s just humiliating.

There is so much about this:

“College athletes shouldn’t be paid because they get a free education.”

In regards to playing professional football again, the Raven quoted

Ironically, based on today’s gold prices, if David Griffin weighs 200 pounds, that would mean he’s worth $3,917,088 in gold, right around the league average for a GM.

Recurring in the replies is the premise that I think the trade is bad or absurd, it’s probably a good trade and Paul might even counteract some of D’Antoni’s coaching deficiencies under pressure. I was more making fun of the idea that Morey’s model of constant roster turnover evinced some sort of work ethic as opposed

I don’t know whether this counts for anything or not, but he’s endorsed a few Turkish shooters in his day and Michael Flynn totally vouches for this guy.

Absolutely - a bike isn’t a particularly complex piece of machinery, and all maintenance, up to and including a complete disassembly/rebuild, is well within the capability of most people. The best way to learn how your bike works, and to recognize when something isn’t working correctly, is to do your own maintenance.

The right tool for the job makes an incredible difference. My toolbox is littered with chainbreakers, cassette removal tools and bottom bracket tools. I have a pedal wrench..and some indispensable cone tools. (really thin, flat 13/15/18 mm wrenches)

Derailleurs are easy. 1st - make sure your stop screws are set correctly or you are breaking spokes or grinding off your frame. When the chain is on the correct cog for the shifter, the pullies should line up. Meaning- the derailleur pully closest to the rear cog should be in line with the correct cog on the

Do most cities have community bike shop where you can go & learn basic maintence? GOBike in Buffalo was the best thing I ever did when I first started riding.

It’s another good argument for buying from a good local bike store, and guide to choosing one: DIY maintenance clinics (as well as informal advice and, if it comes to that, professional help). Ultimately, though, a bicycle is a fairly simple and obvious thing that most people can learn to keep in good running order

The team at GCN should enjoy god-like status for this reason alone. I’ve managed to completely disassemble and reassemble my entire bike thanks to their videos. I’ve only gotten that extreme one time (to replace all of the cables) but I routinely remove the rear cassette and cranks for cleaning. It was tedious early

I am also the bike fixer friend/family member and I hide my dislike for front derailleur by recommending everyone switch to a newer 1x10 setup with a wide ratio cassette.

If you can’t manage anything else, learn the proper pressure for your tires and keep them inflated. I sometimes slack off on this, and can really feel the difference if they’re under-inflated.

Cleveland’s NBA team sure seems to behave in a care-free, impulsive manner.

My point is that they’re capricious, and pay little heed to impending risk.

I’m having a hard time finding the right word to describe Cleveland’s NBA team, but it’s something along those lines...

A lot of people get on players of this generation for wanting to team up instead of beat each other (I don’t wholly agree with this. It just so happens that Bird, Magic, and Jordan were all drafted to really well run organizations that supplied them with the necessary stars to shine), but I have a theory about where
