I know CBC was aware of Ghomeshi harassing co-workers for a long time. My point, which I see now that I didn’t explain clearly, was that they *didn’t* fire him until 1) he personally admitted to problematic sexual behaviour and 2) his bosses saw the evidence (as presented by Ghomeshi himself) with their own eyes.

CBC fired Jian Ghomeshi after he, personally, went to his boss with a video of his ‘kinky sex’ that caused physical injury (which is illegal in Canada), in an attempt to get ahead of the scandal.
